Billie C. Fowler International Connections of Houston Scholarship

Graduation

Did you know that ICH funds a scholarship?

The Billie C. Fowler International Connections of Houston Scholarship was established at the University of Houston-Clear Lake on August 23, 2001 and was intended to alleviate some of the financial burden of international students who met specific criteria requested by ICH. In 2015, after much review, and in an effort to meet the changing needs of students, the endowment agreement was amended to be inclusive of all students. The scholarship applicant is now required to produce an essay that explains their interest in expanding cultural experiences through study/travel abroad and other related experiences. This amendment honors ICH’s fundamental desire to influence young minds with a global focus.

Since inception, scholarships have been awarded to 9 deserving students.
